Combining different options from the STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) the students of the Maker & Sports course will spend a unique summer. This course also includes outdoor sports activities. Each student will be able to enjoy a tailor-made summer in a bilingual environment and the groups will be formed taking into account the age and preferences of each student.

The objective is to promote learning by doing and 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, leadership and creativity through design thinking.

The camp combines activities and games adapted to each age group:

Students will participate in all proposed activities. In the case of sports, students will have to choose one of the three that are offered.

Outings and facilities

The activities will take place in the School’s Maker Space.
Water sports will take place at the Club Náutico Guadalix facilities, located in the Pedrezuela reservoir.
Horse riding and golf activities will take place at the RACE Sports Club located in the Ciudalcampo residential estate.

The camp is taught by native English-speaking and/or bilingual SEK teachers, specialised in Early Childhood, Primary and Physical Education and with extensive experience in teaching English.

  • Comfortable clothes.
  • Sneakers.
  • Swimsuit, hat, flip-flops and towel.
  • Sport equipment:
    • Horse riding option: helmet, riding boots and jodhpurs.
    • Golf option: non-dominant hand glove.
    • Nautical Sports Option: booties and swimsuit.

Transport is optional for all students who request it at an additional cost.

Breakfast and lunch are included and are prepared in the school kitchen. Special meals are available for those who need them.
